This was some adventure, huh?

Last week was my first week in this "VOICES" class, and it is so much fun! The first person I got to know in this class was Lena. She is another Norwegian exchange student! I joined her and her friends group, and our project is about eating ice cream. It is called "A 1000 way to eat ice cream". It's going to be hilarious! I can't wait to show the other students in our class the final result! We are going to film and edit all by our self. This is something I think can be a very fun task to do. I love filming and editing, which makes this class so much better than the other classes I'm taking. Since I came to the US I have bought myself a Mac Book Pro, which have given me some sort of skill in editing, something I hope is some of what I can contribute with in the group.

In the group we are three girls and one boy. I thought that he might feel a bit lonely, but he seems to be just fine! It was so funny when I told my mom about me changing class to a VOICES class. I told her about my first day and what she said was; "This was some adventure, huh?” Haha, she thinks that I am really lucky being able to study abroad and to experience all the things that I get to experience. This whole year has been like a big adventure for me. And I love it! I have been so blessed and I have gotten the chance to travel to the Bahamas, and to Hawaii. And this is just bonus to the fact that I am in America!

When I first started this VOICES class I was afraid that people wouldn’t like me, or would reject me since I was new and because of the fact that I started this class so late into the school year. There is only two months left! But they were all so nice to me and took good care of me the first couple of days. (They still do).

The benefit our group of four has is that the one guy in our group works at Dairy Queen, which means less expensive ice cream for us! (Everyone love free ice cream right??) The concept we have in our short movie is from this other TV-show "1000 ways to die". That show is suppose to be funny to, but I personally think about that what they actually are just acting, that is something that actually happened to someone somewhere in the world. This is what I think that is so unique with our concept. We do something funny, at the same time as well as we  do something that actually could be real.

Ok, see you soon!
All the best, RandI Tho!
